Tết Nguyên Đán Poster
In my illustration class from Fall 2023, we had to make a postcard based off a location in the world or a holiday. I chose to go with the Vietnamese holiday Tết Nguyên Đán, as I'm a sucker for New Year holidays. I based this off Alphonse Mucha's Art Nouveau style. She is surrounded by peach blossoms and wears an Ao Dài with a dragon adorned on it to represent the Year of the Dragon. The text at the bottom translates roughly to "gracious wishes of the new spring!"
