Phi-Life Cypher
The Professionals Album Artwork.
A piece I was commissioned to do for the iconic UK Hip Hop trio Phi-Life Cypher.
Purpose: To provide a visually striking and nostalgically rich album cover that celebrates/mimics the artwork from "The Professionals" TV show that the album shares its name with.
Design Elements:
Color Palette: A bold combination of dark greens, whites, and striking blacks, reminiscent of the show's moody and suspenseful atmosphere.
Imagery: Dynamic illustrations of Three artists Life Mc, Si-Phili and DJ Nappa as shadowy figures echoing the imagery displayed on the original TV shows artwork.
Typography: Classic yet modern typefaces that mirror the show's rugged and no-nonsense aesthetic, ensuring readability while maintaining a stylish edge.
Special Features: Includes textured finishes and embossed elements to add depth and tactile appeal, reflecting the high stakes and intricate plots of the show.
