Artist's brief was to design and build a system which would grab photos of people at the point of zero-gravity when they're jumping on a trampoline and project these images on the wall.

 

The solution was found using a Canon Powershot camera with CHDK open source firmware replacement and an Eye-Fi wireless SD-card. The camera with the CHDK firmware was programmed to detect motion in the zone above the trampoline and once the picture was captured - it was transferred over the air to the computer. This setup allowed for maximum spatial flexibility when deploying the installation, as there were no wires / sensors binding the elements.
