Painted for the Royal Opera House's production of I Due Foscari. This lion's head is for a scene where circus performers dance out of it's mouth. Designed by Kevin Knight with painting assisted by Emily Cheatham it is around 5x4m in two parts, on cotton canvas suspended on net.
