Mingle is a student restaurant in the University of South Wales, Atrium building in Cardiff. This building is full of creative students so the logo had to try to fit all of this.
Concept 1 - The use of a knife, fork and spoon in the negative space.
Concept 2 - Different typefaces to represent different creative people in the creative building. Typefaces also relating to graphic design.
Concept 3 - Mingling of type up and down and colours for different students and various food dishes.
Business cards, menu (back) and t-shirt designs. The ability to choose which version of the logo, i.e with the tag 'restaurant', without or inside the rectangle with knife and fork symbol. I aimed for the enviroment to be very colourful, grown up and uplifiting.
