Taylor Sander Logo
As a volleyball player and fan I get inspired watching a lot of volleyball videos, discovering new players around the world and supporting my favorite teams. Last year (2014) I saw Taylor Sander playing for the USA National Team in the FIVB Wolrd Cup and World League and he surprised me so that I decided to work on this personal project.
The logo
My main inspiration for Sander's logo was his tremendous spike (you can see an example in the video below). After skectching a lot on paper, trying to communicate this particular skill I decided to work on the letter N, so it would describe the movement that the volleyball does when it its the floor after a powerful spike.
After accomplishing this work with the letter N, I applied it to the Sander's word mark, a slogan, on some poster, apparel and merchandising.
