The Client
Stay Hungry Bitch is a restaurant in the southern suburbs of Athens offering dishes based mainly on american street food. The client challenged us to create an identity, which could combine two different visual cultures from different decades.
The Concept
The concept and design of the logotype was based on the American punk rock scene of the 70’s and 80’s, bearing the aesthetic elements of spontaneous writing from the walls of concert halls and the names of the bands themselves. The visual identity was reinforced by translating traditional American tattoo designs of Sailor Jerry into surrealistic collages, combining this way the surf culture of Hawaii with the equally intense punk element of the logo.
