FASHION inspired by martial arts – an emerging young designer’s 15S/S portfolio: campaign photos

 

 

There are many brilliant and new concepts in fashion field, and here’s another one: ‘Martial Spirit’ – a fashion combined by young designer team ‘PLAN6’ with real martial art: Taekwon-do, a Korean martial art with a heavy emphasis on kicks which has been an Olympic event since 1992.

 

The whole collection pieces are designed based on Taekwon-do uniform, using several details in modern and beautiful ways. Also, marvelous views in oriental mood softly reflected outside the window gives you a special moment feeling like to see an unrealistic picture.

 

Another interesting 2 facts are that a girl in the picture posing a taekwon-do is a real member of the Korean national taekwon-do perfomance team who has 5th dan (Dan is a ranking system in martial arts), And a gorgeous elder lady posing as a master is a dream-chasing model who doesn’t care about her age: 70
