Navy SEAL Academy PT Challenge

At Navy SEAL Academy, our Phase 1 training course helps develop a student’s physical conditioning, teamwork skills, and mental tenacity. This phase is 5 weeks long, with classes held once a week on Sundays.
Students will undergo a baseline PT Evaluation, which includes pushups, sit-ups, pull-ups, and a 1.5-mile run. This baseline evaluation will give us a better understanding of the student’s current physical fitness abilities. Our Navy SEAL staff will ensure that all students are motivated and educated! The safety of all of our students is of primary concern – each of our cadre of instructors is CPR certified, and each has many years of instruction and combat experience.
Students will also learn about Navy SEAL history and traditions, basic military protocol, and the importance of teamwork. Students will also partake in team building evolutions such as Log PT, Boat PT, and Team Competitions. Surf Passage will be introduced, with an emphasis on water safety and boat maneuvering. Upon the successful completion of Phase 1, students will receive a Certificate Of Completion from Navy SEAL Academy, which signifies the student’s new found mental tenacity, teamwork, and perseverance.
