MEMORIES COMING ALIVE

Last century photographs from Xanthi (Greece) come alive through the 2.5D technique in a short vintage audiovisual project, combining original orchestral music, sound and visual effects as well as 3D modeling.

George Krallis (3D artist), Dimos Stathoulis (media composer) and Kostas Loukovikas (sound designer) gathered various old photographs, all included in the facebook groups "Old photographs of Xanthi" & "Photographs of the Minor Asian Campaign and Disaster" and crafted a unique visual storytelling tribute to the History of Xanthi City (Greece) through a 2.5D masterpiece work.
