Shifting Territories

This was a collaborative effort orchestrated by Doung of Dala Architecture. It was done under the pretense of being a graffiti exhibition, which definitely did not align with expectations. For the involved, it was about the process. Starting with a routine of drawing exercises or games, left-handed, continuous line drawing and drawing blindfolded. The five resulting drawings were combined digitally in an unpredictable way. The resulting image was mapped across the gallery floor and each participating artist, PastelHeart (R.I.P), 4Givn, Mook Lion, Tymz9 & Stops, were each given a section of the floor to paint. It was definitely an experience.

Conceptually it was, loosely, about the everchanging landscape. The paths created through daily movements. It was about confronting expectations and presumptions. Shifting territories.
