Recently I was asked to come up with logo design. The brief states it clearly - it has to be clean, curvy, typographic logo based on initials L & R + the word "Company", no matter of variation. Wanted color is blue, no specific hue.
They are focused on building houses in Georgia. So here are two designs + its inversed version (for B&W purpose) that came up to my mind.
I basically think of the role of each letter to as a symbol and that's the point. "R" is like a leaf for me in first two versions and like and arrow as also as the house seems to grow when they work on it. And th letter "L" takes a role of detail that can't be missed. Otherwise the it would seem blank.
On the other hand the version 3 and 4 is bit more modernish. I keep the curves and link those letters in one. I personally like the V3 the most. It looks like a symbol but it's still a composition of two letters. Hope some similiar projects will come soon.
