I was approached by an established security company to investigate updating their corporate identity and branding. They were unsure whether they wanted to re-brand or if they wanted to updated their existing look. We underwent both approaches and in the end the client chose to go with a mild update to retain existing clients familiarity, but we had a fun time investigating the possibilities. The one requirement regardless of our final destination was that we had to retain the same colour scheme due to existing assets like vehicle fleet and officer uniforms.

Above is the final logo that was settled upon. It's basically just a more modern version of thier original. Below are samples of the development process during which we extensively explored a full overhaul.
