DATA VISUALIZATION FOR CIVIC ENGAGEMENT

These particular works are a part of my data visualization series. The pieces of a chopped stump represent most important sections of city spendings, including education and social security â which are very troublesome topics at the moment.
Created with a piechart in mind, I was trying to avoid clutter. One can also take a separate look at pure number visualization, a raw shape, representing thousands of lats. Yet to admit, that chopping city budget in chunks is quite a bit more difficult than chopping wood.
