Beef and bison meat at "Great Plains Burger" comes from a privately owned ranch, whose primary purpose is to raise, farm and preserve the Native American bison. The ranch owns 4,500 free roaming bison. The restaurant participates in concervation efforts to save wild American bison and donates a portion of its profits to the cause.
