PLAY YOUR WORK - Playful Communication Tool
The project “Play Your Work” is an interactive tangible visualization of playfulness at your daily job.
A communication tool that invites people to think about themselves through answering on job related questions using preprepared simple graphic stickers.

The tool kit encourages the user to reactivate and reuse his own creativity as a valuable way of communication.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
A limited edition of 40 modular Play Sets, each containing a blank postcard, a combination of 8 different sticker shapes and simple instructions. Each Play Set has an assigned number and a randomly selected color combination of the stickers, therefore every single one is unique.
LET’S PLAY!
The user is guided through 8 job related questions. He/she visualizes his/her answers by placing the stickers in the belonging fields of the blank postcard and step by step, a personal infographic is created. The final result is a personalized image that represents the users work environment and gives an insight into his/her playful approach to daily work.
AND THEN?
The user takes a photo of himself and his numbered infographic (making sure the number is visible on the photo) and shares it on Facebook or Instagram with #keenonmars, field(s) of work (with the prefix play) he/she feels the most related to (#playfulscience, #playfuleducation, #playfulbusiness #playfulcreative) and the number written of the postcard.
AND WHY?
Because user plays the most important part in this project.
On this way we are getting a lot of valuable insight into play&work balances in various fields – in digital and also analog, tangible way.
The aim of the project is to awake awareness of the audience through the playful decision making process. The tangible approach of choosing and finally applying the stickers, requires a thoughtful action. Once sticked it’s sticked (unlike our beloved “apple-z”).
Through play and interaction the user learns about himself: learning through experiencing.

PLAY YOUR WORK – WORKSHOP
There are a lot of workshops on the market that offer to help companies to improve how to interact with their employees. Working places are designed with a greater human approach to make work more joyable. Beside this, we shouldn’t forget the individual himself. It’s all about us.
We think it is important to involve the employee in this process of change and to make him aware of his valuable position to self increase his positive attitude towards his daily work and routine life.It should be fun. In our workshops we guide the participants through their own „Play Your Work“ and through this develop a wider definition of the language of play.
