I was asked to update or create a Wordpress theme for a graduate podcast at Michigan State University.
I started the project by creating several mockups for the client in Photoshop. After a few back-and-forth sessions, a design which included a backdrop that consisted of the books at the library and a digital checkerboard fade below the logo, was agreed upon and approved. I, then, took the final design and implemented it into the existing default "twentyeleven" Wordpress theme.
It was my first attempt at developing a Wordpress theme and I found the entire process straightfoward and enjoyable. The finished podcast theme can be viewed at: podcast.gradhacker.org.
