e-NABLE - Visual Identity and Campaign

About
The e-NABLE community is an amazing group of individuals from all over the world who are using their
3D printers to create free 3D printed hands and arms for those in need of an upper limb assistive device.
They are people who have put aside their political, religious, cultural and personal differences – to come
together and collaborate on ways to help improve the open source 3D printable designs for hands and arms
for those who were born missing fingers or who have lost them due to war, disease or natural disaster.

e-NABLE's prostheses has extremely low costs compared to conventional prostheses.
Often families with disabled kids can't afford a conventional prostheses because the kid will outgrow it in no time.
e-NABLE gives these families an alternative and the majority of e-NABLE's recipients are therefore kids.

Case
Even though e-NABLE is experiencing success and are getting a lot of publicity it is important to look
ahead in order to secure its existence and relevance in the future.

Ambition
Engage creative and innovative Danes - primarily engineers - to develop and come up with new and
alternative ways of improving e-NABLE's prostheses.

Logo
e-Nable is a global network and a community with huge doses of complexity
A lot of different people is the foundation of e-NABLE just like the pieces are the foundation of the prostheses.

Campaign
A local Danish campaign is launched under the name "My knowledge is my donation" (Min viden er min donation).

Instead of just telling engineers about the many great possibilities e-NABLE can give you (and indeed others)
we give them first hans experiences - disguised as a competition. Together with your colleagues you can compete
against others to develop and create new awesome prostheses that can make a real difference for somebody.

With the question Can we print a better world? (Kan vi printe en bedre verden?) we encourage Danish engineer companies and their employees to participate in the competition.

An app gives the volunteer developers different tools they can
use while creating new ideas and concepts.

In addition, the app is related to a book which is handed out to the participants.
With a scanning function the app makes the book active by turning images into videos.

Webdesign
The website reflects e-NABLE as a whole with an experimenting, curious and playful universe.
The logo is brought into action to show how the many different instances together form e-NABLE.
