A new logo design for two local businesses that have united under one incredible roof: Johnny Ruth and Living Planet. Both are legendary around here in their own right, and the new store is nothing short of amazing. If you're ever in St. John's, 181 Water St. is where it's at.

My favourite work over the years has been for St. John's synth-pop favourites Repartee- including album art, posters, t-shirts, and their website. They are a ridiculously talented band, and their live show just overflows with energy and style and grace. I highly recommend that you check them out!

The Ghana Move fundraiser was put off this past Summer by a good friend of mine Curtis Andrews. His ties to Ghana span 13 years over many trips back and forth, during which he studied Ghanaian music and dance, specifically from the Ewe people in the South. I cannot possbly do the story justice in this small space - I recommend reading his words about it all here.

The music scene in St. John's has always been larger than the sum of its parts. The Lovers (my band) put this show together and it was memorable because it had two of our favourite local bands Kujo and Local Tough (both of which have since broken up), and the octopus ended up being used as my first screenprinted t-shirt design.
