BorgheseGallery Museum
Large video projection on the building façade, public event sponsored.
In 2005 The Borghese Gallery Visual Show was the first outstanding event in Italy featuring the new
technology of large video projection on a building façade.
The project was sponsored by an Italian manufacture of lighting contacted by the Son et Lumière and was the first of many events in which private companies become successful partners of public events run by Son et Lumière.
The area in front of the museum, immersed in the beautiful park of Villa Borghese, was the scenario
where the show was held. The images of the decorations that were removed by Napoleone Buonaparte in 1807, returned miraculously to where they once were thanks to a video projection.
Baroque music and lights show accompanied the projection of the masterpieces.
