The fun, easy-to-use, electric guitar, Geeta, plays a customizable series of 12 notes through MIDI-controlled software. The toy was rapidly prototyped in 2 days for a course on interactive device design.

Laser cut body and 3D printed pick.
The guitar uses a soft potentiometer and limit switches to sense finger position and strumming, respectively. Software for mapping the analog and discrete switch signals to MIDI software was done by Corten Singer.

The finger pick pivots within a bracket that is screwed onto the laser cut guitar top. The limit switches also rest in pockets within the same bracket.
