This mini-comic was created as a free giveaway for the yearly Angoulême Comics Festival which I attended on early 2016. That's why it is written in French, je m'excuse d'avance. :)
Script Construction
Before starting to draw, I wrote a script (scénario, in French) in the traditional style used in movies and American/European comics. Featuring scene descriptions, dialogues, etc. I don't always work like this — most often I just scribble thumbnail drawings and dialogue lines and move along in a more or less random fashion.
Sketching and definition of layout
Here the general layout and characters, dialogue position etc, are established. I even wrote the French translation myself.
