Self-project. 2012-2013
1.

July 2012, me and my brother held, in a local cvenue a Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 Tournament for PS3.
We invited some friends and family to join the afternoon of July 6th and play.

To develop my infographic practice and knowledge, i started some posters, that could memorize and posterize the tournament.
Later, these were sent to the participants with good reception, stating these helped to grow a friendly rivalry and a will to do more tournament editions.

On the first one, the main need was to give a quick left-right read and colorful overall view
Resemble the Champions League environment and feeling was the main goal of the first tournament.
Tournament 1, Panel 1: the presentation panel emphasized by the Champions League wallpaper.
Tournament 1, Panel 2: the 14 participants, their chosen teams and the tournament stages.
Tournament 1, Panel 3: all the main statitistics from the tournament, giving some emphasis to best offense and defense.
2.
The 2nd tournament was held later 2012, on September.
The focus on the main European League was kept in a lighter way and exploring more the fonts and the color boxes.
Tournament 2, Panel 1: again the presentation giving focus to Champions League but lighter.
Tournament 2, Panel 2: the 13 participants and their course during the tournament.
Tournament 2, Panel 3: the last panel focusing more on the scorers and goal average instead an all around.
3.
Right in the end of 2012, we held the 3rd tournament.
I made some rupture with former posters and got inspiration on Windows 8 and it's square blocks.
Flat colors were also predominant.
Tournament 3, Panel 1: new approaching, more geometric and windows 8 inspired.
Tournament 3, Panel 2: all the tournament stages and details. squares and league gothic combination.
Tournament 3, Panel 3: top statistics, and scorers following the order of the panel 2.
4.
Spring 2013 was the date of the 4th tournament.
Relying again on a different approach i tried a sober and black look.
Tournament 4, Panel 1: in the fourth tournament, i gave it a more sober view. Types used: Aeroportal and Code.
Tournament 4, Panel 2: following a more clean look, three colors only for group stage winners, 3rd's and and eliminations.
Tournament 4, Panel 3: the most relaxed "info" panel deserved a larger palette. Also, i added best players so far.
5.
On the fifth and last tournament, we were 10 players.
With the extra space for being less players i focused on connections and interactions between the players on the elimination stage. The Flow Free app was the inspiration to do it.
Tournament 5, Panel 1: rewiding to the 3rd tournament, i recovered the colors and big buttons.
Tournament 5, Panel 2: with the recover of the colors and the geometric shapes, like the Flow Free game.
Tournament 5, Panel 3: a more graphic view of the goals and their difference, following the style of the previous panel.
Overall, the technique and visual culture had improved during the tournaments thus making the goals of this self-project successful. Also the participants really loved to collect this posters which remembered them of the fun afternoons.
