IMPLANT&PROSTHETIC FOR CAT 

(WIP)

This starts as a sad story , as a kitten arrived a while ago to an roumanian vet clinic with both back legs missing. The poor kitten has been given the best treatment by the vet and a chance to life, after which the clinic staff decided to adopt it an look for a future solution.

There was chance again as Andrei ( our jewelry designer and 3d modeler) was involved in rescuing another kitten found on the street , most probable hit by a car and left there, arrived at the same clinic and sparked a conversation about 3d printing with our good vet.

So we decided to start a collaboration, to try and find a solution for the kitten with both legs missing, as part of that project we've started modeling, under close supervision of the clinic a set of implants that would perfectly fit the bones  CT scan. Project it is still undergoing tests but are now fast closing the big operation that will bring back at least a part of the feline mobility for  Crissy.

BTW this is the kitten Andrei was trying to save , he survived the two major interventions and for a while it looked like Frankenstein,with all the stitches he had on him , but is well now and awaiting adoption.
