Redesign inspired by the traditional slumdog in Mumbai for a typical family.
The space is divided into 3 main parts: common area (1st floor), private area (2nd-3rd floor) and red staircase, the central sculpture of the house.
A very special detail is the transparent glass teca that is wrapped around the red staircase and faces every room. It functions as a central skylight, allowing natural light to get in. The multi-layered floors are a good solution to all kinds of small living areas.
