Dalindèo is a Finnish jazz-sextet founded and led by composer/guitarist Valtteri Laurell Pöyhönen in 2003. In this project, it requested to select one artist/band to express their style with the related music genre. I picked "Jazz" genre and one of my favourite jazz band from Helsinki and their album "Kallio" to bring their style a new perspective.

In this logo, I came up with the idea that jazz has a rhytmic nature.
That's why I used letters as instrument buttons.
The choice of color reflects artist's origin.
In Helsinki, most of the buildings are in these two colors.
Depending on the songs, genre and artist's album name "Kallio",
I searched the best material that reflects the spirit of their unique sound.
Kallio, is a vibrant and culturally rich area in Helsinki.
Foil reflects the sound and that vibrant image itself.
I used crumpled foil as the backround, artist logo in the middle
