Marketing & Distribution Strategist
CRONIES is the coming-of-age dramedy directed by Michael J. Larnell and executive produced by Spike Lee. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2015 and went on to Tribeca, The Chicago International Film Festival and BFI. As the inaugural marketing & distribution team for the NYU Production Lab, we worked to develop the strategy for the film's North American theatrical run in collaboration with the online theatrical distribution platform TUGG. As a team we initiated market research and audience segmentation, created ticket pricing models, and executed outreach to educational institutions for licensing of the film. In addition to developing marketing materials for the film's social media platforms, we curated a week of themed panels and workshops for the New York theatrical run of CRONIES as part of the IFP Screen Forward Series. Our work has been sited for one of the case studies that inspired Sundance's Creative Distribution Initiative.
