Serigraphy Monotypes 1 & 2
The series you see below is created from a single screen print of watercolors and watercolor pencil. The inspiration for these images comes from microscopic photographs of different chemical compounds and cellular structures. The darker yellow/brown overlay is actually a shimmering gold tone.
The images were originally worked on in photoshop before being printed and used as a template. Stencils created the gold overlays that are run in acrylic screen ink.
