Fine Art: Figurative Work

Man & Beast
Even when my subject matter isn't human, I try to reflect some aspect of humanity in the work. Art schools teach how light and darkness interact to help us perceive the depth of an object. More important to my work is how lighting affects the interior dimensionality of the subject. For me, it is more about interactions between that which is revealed and that which is not, interior struggles that exist within each of us.
