Zbigniew Herbert was a special guest at Jan Kochanowski's name day - a literary picnic of the National Library, organized every year in the Krasinski Garden.
Herbert's work has become an inspiration for an interdisciplinary program. There were discussions about various aspects of communing with literature - in live word, theater, radio and even in sign language. There was a poetry match, workshops and concerts.
The Krasinski Palace presents manuscripts and sketches from Herbert's journey. The main exhibit was the manuscript of the poem "Prayer of Lord Cogito - traveler".
The scenery is made up of steel displays with accessories, on which exhibition maps, sketches from Herbert's trip, or postcards from the event are displayed.
