Jewelry Set Utilizing Alternative Materials
My set of jewelry was inspired by combinatorics and its principles appliedin fine arts. Each and every jewel consists of several parts, which make ithighly variable, because its owner can combine its parts and thus finalizethe final look of jewel. This set of jewelry consists of seven basic plastic parts, on top of itthere are silver fastenings on necklaces, bracelets, earrings and brooches,which do not belong to the group of basic parts. From the practical pointof view, the number of seven basic parts brings on one hand enough randomcombinations and at the same prevents the jewelry set from being toocomplicated, since increasing number of basic parts could linearly multiplyits complexity. Product is environmentally-friendly, nearly no waste remains after itsproduction, because plastic parts are produced by Rapid prototyping and thesilver ones by Casting to lost wax.
