Charlie Lee about crypto investment "on the way down"

Buying Bitcoin or Litecoin "on the way down" can be a good strategy in the long run

Charlie Lee believes that crypto investors have nothing to worry about and they can invest money in the digital currency, looking forward to a long-term perspective.

The creator of Litecoin believes that the high volatility of the cryptocurrency is to blame for speculation. Further, in an interview to CNBC Lee expressed his confidence in the future strengthening of prices and the success of the cryptocurrency. Recall that in December 2017 Charlie Lee announced that he had sold and donated all the Litecoins that belonged to him. The reason for this step was a conflict of interest: Lee did not want to continue to be accused of fluctuations in the price of the cryptocurrency.

Lee explained that the short-term ups and downs of prices do not tell us anything about the success or, conversely, the failure of the cryptocurrency - investors need to monitor long-term trends. As an example, Charlie brought his own currency Litecoin and its competitor Bitcoin, saying that even though the prices for them fell by 60 or even 70 percent, we saw how many institutions and countries adopted them, giving legal status.

As for any specific forecasts regarding prices, Charlie said that although he has been working in this sphere for a long time, he refrains from predicting prices. According to him, the restoration can take as much as six months, and 4 years.

Charlie Lee believes that low prices for cryptocurrency is a great opportunity for developers to forget about speculation and do something really worthwhile, and also encourages the Litecoin community to focus on the adoption and scaling of Lightning Network technologies and sidechains.

And finally, Charlie believes that buying Bitcoin or Litecoin "on the way down" can be a good strategy in the long run.
