Maxi Tote Bags
According to the results of the research, the consumption of the plastic bags is high (on average, daily the consumer takes 7 bags in one purchase) and this is both the expense of the company and the bad impact on nature and the environment.
Delhaize Serbia as socially responsible company wanted to uphold laws and offer its consumers the option to take a part in the preservation of the planet and the environment by one small gesture, which implies that you are coming to shopping with a high quality and nice tote bag which will replace the plastic bags. In order to achieve this, they decided to design bags, which will be more like a modern bag, affordable and attractive, which is again in line with their business and targeted consumers.
They invited 20 designers from Serbia to design unique tote bags.
Here's one of the three that I've designed.

Nothing without Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam.
I decided to present young people and how Maxi is part of their everyday life. Also I wanted to incorporate into the illustration some of the great Serbian products which are well known and dear to all of us, like Menaž chocolate or Kapri ice cream.
Colors are warm but fresh with an oldschool feeling. Red dominates because that's the color of Maxi brend.
Unfortunately they are still not using the bags made by designers and I don't have info why, but the good thing is that they do have canvas bags instead of the plastic ones. Some boring ones tho. :)
