Intaglio & Relief Prints

The title of this piece makes a reference to an even frozen in time; chaos captured in the lines and planes of ink and paper.  This work was inspired by a single piece of broken hub cap found on the side of the road, dented, cracked, and the fragment of a reminder of an accident that occured there.

 

Some of the images are soley intaglio, others relief printing and some utilize both.  Some lines are also hand-varnished to give the ink the appearance of being wet still.
