LUMI is a kind and playful creature made from snow and he lives in Lapland. His birthday is on 2nd of February, since that is the official nameday for Lumi in Finland, where every calendar date has different names celebrated.
Lumi is a bit shy, but when you get to know him, he is friendly and warm, despite the body made of snow. As the saying goes ‘cold hands, warm heart’.
Lumi has hope for people to follow his way of living, respecting our environment. Keeping our snow white, caring for the little things, repairing instead of replacing, choosing to consume less but better… and then enjoying some shaved ice when it’s time for a treat!
