Poisoned Love (2019)
The project starts to be shaped by examining the concepts attributed to apple throughout the ages. Although, apple, since the centuries, points out different and contradictory terms such as love, ambition, sin, chaos, prohibition and completion, all of these terms that emerge from the very essence of life itself are in a sense achieved as a result of the risks taken and they spring to life as a whole.

Even a single step towards love can create infinite number of possibilities in our lives. The aim of the artist in this project is to symbolize this risk in love's dynamism. In this context, love is associated with the philosophy of existentialism. According to existentialists, humans are not boundy by any pre-existing notion of destiny, humans are unconditionally free. They compose their essence with their own choices. As Jean Paul Sartre states, “You know, it’s quite a job starting to love somebody. You have to have energy, generosity, blindness. There is even a moment, in the very begginning, when you have to jump across a precipice: if you think about it you don’t do it.”
Won’t you have a bite? 🔪🍎🔪
