Behind the Design: You've Got Issues Campaign

It was during my time as senior graphic designer at FiscalNote, the #1 premier issues management system; I earned the opportunity to manage an amazing junior designer, and the distinct honor to serve as art director on one of the companies largest marketing campaigns; You’ve Got Issues. The opportunity to manage and direct equity-driven creative, at such a high level, has been the highlight of my professional career. The team and myself tout the commitment to insight, impact, and representation as the motivators of success with this project.

The ask, develop a campaign launching the brand redesign and the expansion in product offering; in a fashion unique to FiscalNote’s past campaigns. The challenge was developing creative in a brand voice that was not fully formed. To mitigate we worked in collaboration with the design company handling the brand redesign. Additionally, we were to “bring ‘them’ in with creative, keep ‘them’ with content.” We coordinated a campaign task force, made up of several departmental assets, tasked with achieving success with the campaign. This allowed for frequent check-ins and alignment opportunities with content development and product marketing.

Success was measured by several factors, most notable were company buy-in, marketing lead generation, and sales team acquisitions. As part of the campaign's post launch action plan, we monitored those numbers for two months, returning very favorable figures and industry recognition.
