CHROMESTHESIA
Fashion styling and photography inspired by the work of the artist Wassily Kandinsky, considered to be the pioneer of Abstract Art. Wassily Kandinsky had the gift of Synesthesia. It’s a rare but real condition in which one sense, like hearing, triggers another sense. He literally saw colors when he listened to music and thus painted while listening to musical compositions which is the reason why many of his paintings are named "compositions".
My interpretation of chromesthesia (sound to color synesthesia) can be seen in the variety of colours used in an abstract way on the human body which has a sense of rhythm conveyed through their dynamic body gestures.
