In this project, I created the packaging for the Gold Medal Collection from the Artisan’s Kitchen. The Gold Medal Collection is a set of preserves put together from the best of the jams, jellies and marmalade created by the Artisan Kitchen. The products in the series include: Sweet orange and passion fruit marmalade, Gloucestershire Crab Apple Jelly, and White Peach Jam.

Since the preserves are made from only natural ingredients, the products have a short storage period before expiry. A smaller portion can ensure that the product stays fresh before it is consumed. A smaller jar also allows consumers to finish all products in the collection before the expiry date.

A collage of all ingredients used can highlight the companies focus on natural ingredients and its quality. It is also able to show the diversity of ingredients. Collages of different combination of ingredients are suitable to use in a series as they can adapt to different flavours but remain consistency in the visual representation.

Promotional posts can be found on the company’s official Instagram account. An Instagram advertisement was designed to promote this special collection. The design uses the same patterns used on the jars with colour blocks to make the products standout. The post clearly shows the brand, products and the name of the collection so the audience can search for the specific product on the website.
