....Finally got round to sorting instagram... and it turns out insta is good - Although I may have missed the point a little bit.... as I have been reliably informed by one of my students that it isn't good practice to spam the posts. Being a vegetarian I am adverse to spam in general- but I do love it now after I got over my initial hesitance thinking it was more like snapchat - which I just don`t get :-(
Behance will always be my go to for posting work - but instagram forces you to do stuff that has been lost through a lack of regular, traditional darkroom practice- You have to be selective about the amount, so no printing of 100s of digital shots- and most importantly, it encourages consideration of cropping- which is all to often overlooked by photographers.
