Stereographics Workshop - Event Poster

Stereographics Workshop
2013. Event Poster
On April 10th, 2013, as part of Design Students Core (NED) in Universidade de Aveiro, we invited Oupas! Design to teach a workshop about their ways around building cardboard objects and the new graphic perspectives surrounding Stereographics.
 The idea came to us while researching graphic compositions. We were inspired by the work of Julian Vallée and Serial Cut in their new experiments regarding 2D and 3D visual compositions.
In order to to support our enquiry,  we discovered and bought the book 'Stereographics: graphics in new dimensions' edited by Victionary.

Therefore, the idea behind this poster aimed to represent the theme of the workshop -  building small scalled roads/buildings/skyscrapers imaginary or real - while applying a Stereographic approach. We tried to design the poster using the same techniques viewed in the book which inspired us and would be taught later at the event. Here is the making-off and results:

The final results: the poster and some details.

The workshop.
Overall, it sure was fun to build the poster exploring the perspective of graphical dimensions.
Also the workshop participants motivation to use the stereographics paradigm in their personal/academic works was an accomplished goal.

Our thanks to the other students who helped us during the process:
Francisco Seisdedos;
Susana Santos.

Special thanks and credits to Oupas! Design for accepting our invitation to master the workshop.
