This exercise is somewhat of a study focused on the kinetic nature of living and non-living things. I like flow and abstractness, even in concrete and obvious representations.

How it all starts (usually).
Considerable progress made, I've diverted quite a bit from the original sketch and cleaned up a lot. I also didn't have any room on the page for the bottom half of the body, legs, etc... I've taken a lot of liberty and did everything else directly in illustrator.
Final image, body and all. Shadow added because... well why the heck not.
