This is a microgame for nest® thermostats, that brings together the idea of connecting aging family members with younger ones, it introduces a healthy dose of activity, emotion and belonging to help counter degenerative processes and illnesses such as alzheimer disease.

A family member start a game request via familyconnect® and which the senior citizen either accept or deny, then the nest® thermostat request the historic information and doctor recommendations and sets the difficulty

for the different test categories (Haptic, Visual, Audible).

The result of the Challenge is then logged to the API and the relevant results are forwarded to the involved relevant parties.

The sample game is called Disarm the bomb in which the senior citizen rotates the dial following visual and audible clues given by the nest® thermostat.   

This game is formulated to improve the nest® experience, stay mentally active in a very fun way.
