The "Crack of Burri"

This is the "Crack of Burri", a gigantic landscape artwork realized between 1984 and 1989 in the place where once was the city of Gibellina, completely destroyed by the earthquake. The memory of the city thus remains in time and space, fixed forever in these fractures of concrete that retrace the old city route.
