- The Process -

This is a typography portrait of Coco Chanel. I started with a photo of Coco from Google Images. I uploaded this photo into Adobe Illustrator and used the text tool to create the image of her face with letters. All of the text used are quotes either said about or from Coco. After using the "type tool", I used the "wrap with mesh" tool and was able to move each each text box to conform to the shape of the image. After creating the image with text, I used the "eyedropper tool" to create similar colors from the Google Image to the text boxes.
