This was my final year project for my graduate show in the Limerick School of Art and Design from where I completed my degree in Visual Communications. It was a self driven project, which I chose to do on the subject of chess. I created an eighteen page foldout book that contained spreads on the history of the game and the pieces, and some storied of where chess crossed over with areas of popular culture over the last half a century or so. Along with this book, I had a series of four posters with illustrations of four great chess masters from the past and the present.
