Alice in Wonderland Redesign
I redesigned, typeset, and printed Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, focusing both on the irrationality Lewis Carroll imbued his book with and on the experience I had as a twenty-something reading it for the first time. I decided to bring to life the over-abundance of anthropomorphized objects and iconic creatures in this tale through scientific illustrations with matching captions. But there's a twist. These illustrations are far from aiming for scientific accuracy and the captions are just as outlandish. They reflect my inner dialogue as I flipped through the pages and repeatedly caught myself raising an eyebrow or saying "what?...".
I don't claim credit for any of the illustrations. Illustrations credits go to amazing artists who shared their work online.
