Amazon was planning to decommission a major B2B portal used by its largest vendors. The company needed both a plan for merging the decommissioned portal's dashboards into a new portal and a plan for improving the user experience of the portal until its retirement.

During the fall of 2018, I performed internal and vendor stakeholder interviews; audited the content, technical documentation, and analytics from current and past Amazon portals; created flows and wireframes to illustrate my ideas to stakeholders; and documented technical requirements based on my research.

My final deliverables were a "risks and proposals" whitepaper prescribing an interim feature set for the existing portal until it could be decommissioned, a recommendation for visual UI updates to the existing portal to acclimate vendors to the new portal, and a whitepaper suggesting an improved workflow for one of the portal's dashboards.

Based on analytics from previous Amazon dashboards and my research interviews, implementing my proposals had the potential to increase the number of completed tasks in one existing dashboard by 45%.
