Upper Fort Garry was the administrative centre of Rupertsland, a massive mercantile empire that stretched from the east of Hudson Bay to the Arctic Ocean to Alaska to the Pacific coast as far south as Oregon. Its archeological remains now lie in the heart of downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
As the Lead Visual Designer on this project, my role spanned a wide range of responsibilities.
I worked with a large cross-disciplinary team of architects, electrical and structural engineers, steel-cutters, historians, sound designers, and developers to create the illustrations on the wall, and the design styles for all of the park branding assets (from park signage to the website).

As the project matured over a 7 year span, I took on additional roles, including Creative Direction and Visual Design for the Park website and the Mobile App.
These original versions where created in 2012 and are the artifacts I attribute to a focussed career shift into Product Design.
