Sir Norman Foster founded Foster+Partners in 1967, which have established a global studio for sustainable architecture, engineering, urbanism and industrial design. Since the 1970s, the firm got its fame a worldwide reputation after established its international practices.

With his 15 offices around the globe, the design studio had worked as both ethically and culturally diverse yet treated equally. Foster working performance had done more like a global manager than being a "hands-on draftsman" which essentially focused on managing time and design process (Biography, 2020). The earliest idea by Foster started with the idea of a technologically advanced "shed," which shows a structure that acts as enclosure while surrounded by a lightweight fabrication.

By far, Foster's design had been more fluid and flexible connection through inside and outside spaces. He aims and promises to present a "sense of humanity" throughout futuristic and environmentally friendly design spaces (Foster + Partners, 2020).  Most of Foster's buildings utilised green spaces to allow natural light into the building spaces. Therefore, this would balance out his futuristic and high-tech appearance while enabling energy efficiency to the design scheme.
